MK Portable Cabin now supplies folding container cabins — flat-pack units that fold down for transport and open out into a finished cabin on site. They are a different product from the welded cabins we build at our own works in Mumbra, Thane, and they solve a different problem: moving a lot of cabin space to a site cheaply and putting it up fast.
Why a folding cabin instead of a welded one
- Transport cost. A welded cabin travels as one bulky box, and the truck largely carries air. A folding cabin collapses to a fraction of its open height, so several units stack into the space one welded cabin would take.
- Speed on site. The unit is lifted off the trailer, the walls and roof swing up and the panels are bolted. No welding, no masonry, no curing time.
- Movable. When the project ends it folds back down and goes to the next site — at a fraction of the return freight of a welded cabin.
- Clean finish. PUF insulated panels, steel frame, factory-painted. It arrives looking like an office, not a shed.
What it is used for
- Construction and infrastructure site offices
- Solar and wind project site offices, HSE rooms and induction halls
- Labour accommodation and rest rooms
- Security and gate cabins
- Site stores and tool rooms
- Shops, counters and clinics

Specification and price
The panel specification matters more on a folding cabin than it does on a welded one — thin insulation will make the cabin unusable in an Indian summer, so we use PUF insulated panels on a steel frame. Interior fit-out, wiring and furniture are specified to your requirement. Tell us how many cabins you need, where the site is and what the cabin is for, and we will send you the full specification and a written, itemised quotation.
Quantity changes the price sharply on this product, because the saving comes from how many units fit in a container. If you are taking more than a few, say so in your enquiry.
Delivery across India
We supply folding cabins to sites across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, and to project sites elsewhere in India. Before dispatch we confirm gate width, overhead clearance and whether a crane or hydra will be available, so the cabin can be opened and handed over on the day it arrives.
